The afternoon begins with program LA <3s SD, a collaboration with our partners at San Diego Film Week. The program will feature short film winners of the 2019 San Diego Film Awards alongside exciting new works by LA local filmmakers.
The evening continues with the Los Angeles premiere and of Senior Love Triangle, the feature directorial debut of award-winning filmmaker and actor Kelly Blatz. The narrative is inspired by an acclaimed photo essay of the same name, which documents the turbulent romances between a troubled 84-year old WWII veteran and two very different women.
The conclusion of the night’s programming is InFocus: Veteran Cinema, a collection of short films written, inspired and directed by veterans, featuring varied stories of reflection, imagination, pride and stepping towards oneself and others.
