Join us for a conversation about film and television directing with director Anthony Nardolillo. We will discuss his career directing for both TV and film, including episodes of Chicago Med for NBCUniversal, as well as his three feature films in addition to an upcoming film in development with Academy Award-winning producer Daniel Dreifuss. We will discuss his process for directing, what it is like to work on both TV and features and how he approaches the two, in addition to advice he has for emerging directors who may want to break into the business as directors.

About Anthony Nardolillo:

Anthony is an award winning Film and TV director. He has completed three films and recently directed his 3rd episode Chicago Med for NBC UNIVERSAL and has a film in development with Academy Award Producer Daniel Dreifuss.

After making his directorial debut in 2017 with the feature SHINE, starring Alysia Reiner (ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK) and David Zayas (DEXTER), ANTHONY NARDOLILLO it has been released past June, the boxing drama 7TH AND UNION starring Mexican superstar, Omar Chaparro (which was acquired by Amazon Studios and will premiere in June of 2022) and RIGHTEOUS THIEVES for LIONSGATE, a new heist drama starring Jaina Lee Ortiz (STATION 19/CBS); Cam Gigandet (WITHOUT REMORSE); Carlos Cain (VIDA) and Lisa Vidal (THE BAKER AND THE BEAUTY/FOX) which has been released theatrically last March 10th, 2023.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:

The L.A. Times called Nardolillo’s directorial debut SHINE (which he made for under 400K) “a love letter to New York’s Spanish Harlem,” while The New York Times praised the film’s dance sequences, energy and “big heart.” SHINE was awarded Best Feature at HBO’s UrbanWorld Film Festival and was acquired by Buena Vista/DISNEY and even Legendary director Steven Spielberg personally requested to screen the film.
