About Tayanna Todd:

Tayanna Todd is the Head of Inclusive Content in Lionsgate’s Motion Picture Group (MPG), where she partners cross-functionally with teams throughout the MPG to build and scale more inclusive decision-making across the film slate. Todd continually aims to connect people, ideas, and resources in order to create more equitable systems, greater accessibility, and increased opportunities for underrepresented storytellers. Over the past several years at Lionsgate, she played a critical role in the creation of the Inclusive Content department, supported the launch of multiple initiatives including the studio’s script inclusion tool, Story Spark, led the company’s Relevance, Inclusion, and Impact Lens (RIIL) Board, and co-created the division’s efforts to develop new pathways for first-time filmmakers of color.

Todd joined Lionsgate from Showtime’s Original Programming team where she aided in developing a slate of television shows including Halo and Ripley, and served on the company’s DEI council, advising leadership on the creation and execution of its inclusion roadmap. Prior to Showtime, she held development and production roles at CBS and STARZ.
