Join us for a conversation on writing comedy for television. We’ll hear from writers and industry professionals Chris Marcil (What We do in the Shadows, Fraiser, Hot in Cleveland) and Sam Johnson (What We Do In The Shadows, Frasier, Crowded) to learn their experiences in the comedy room to show running, bringing humor onto the page and their advice in building a career in TV writing. More to be announced.
Bio: Sam Johnson & Chris Marcil have written for some of the most notable TV comedies of the past three decades, including Beavis and Butt-head, NewsRadio, Frasier, How I Met Your Mother, and What We Do In The Shadows. They were also showrunners of TV Land’s Hot In Cleveland and the pilot and a number of episodes for the animated show Daria.
